I learned to sew by myself and I often confuse myself with the stitches names and all that. But I would like for that to change. Come and join me while I try to educate myself about sewing.

I remember taking sewing lessons as a child, I don't remember what I learned though. lol And then there was home ec in school, yeah I guess I am showing my age. but basically I too am self taught. I have to say I do pretty good too. I have made many costumes for my children that people ask where I bought them and can they borrow them. I do all my sewing by hand, I never use a machine. The few times I did, it took me longer to thread the machine then it would for me to sew the item.
