Crafty Saturday Party No. 88

I can't believe it's almost a month ago since I have last posted a Crafty Saturday-related post. Let's just say I had been so busy being a working mom. My contract ended just last October 31 and I am now happily back to being a full-time mom. During the first few days, I was so busy cleaning the house, doing some changes with my daughter's room, doing some important paper works related to my work, health insurance, etc. 
Last November 5, my sister finally gave birth to Nozomi, my newest niece. I am a proud aunt to this fighter!

Nozomi was born prematurely at 31 weeks and 6 days. She weighed 1,963 grams and measured 40 cms from head to toe. My sister had to stay in the CCU before being moved to the general ward after two days. Thank God, both mother and daughter are doing well. My brother-in-law visited their eldest at the facility where she's staying right now to show her the picture of her lovely sister. Here's an update which I took from my sister's FB status yesterday:
nozomi is doing very well. her progress is fast. was on vent for a day. was on pressure assitance for a day after vent was removed.was moved from nicu to gcu and no more breathing assistance on the 3rd day. she's drinking more milk and iv will be stopped today. she also have no more "breathing stops" times.

i trust Your plan Lord. i offered You this marriage from the very beginning, i also offer You our lives and i offer You everything Lord because everything belongs to You alone.

please continue to pray with us and for us. may this journey help all of us come home to God.

i ask all these through Christ, Amen.

We do have a lot to be thankful of. I thank God for every miracle in our lives. The fact that my sister and my eldest niece, Hikari survived their ordeal was a miracle... and the fact that my sister and Nozomi also survived is another incredible miracle... Thank you, Lord. You are Great!
