We have interviewed Jenn, the owner and the artist behind the shop, so you could get to know more our lovely sponsor.

Me: Tell us a bit about yourself. 

Jenn: I spend my days at home with three children, 7, 4, and 2.  I love being able to be home for my kids, but I am not a sit still kind of girl!  I have always needed a project of some kind!  I have so many interests that I have a difficult time deciding what I want to spend my highly valued nap time pursuing.

I love to sew, paint, draw, and scrapbook.  When my husband comes home at night I enjoy our family eating together, I really like the part where if I was busy that day, or just not in the mood, he seems just as happy with a bowl of cereal as he would a home cooked meal!

Me: Tell us a bit about your shop.

Jenn: Vintage Green Limited is my creative outlet, it truly keeps me sane!  I love creating items for home decor, I can never seem to find the just right item at the store, so I just make my own.  I love creating seasonal items and sharing my latest vintage finds, so my shop features both.

I also love custom orders, I am always happy to create something in my shop in a different color scheme, or even your own fabric!  Sometimes it's hard trying to guess what people would like, so it's awesome when they tell you!!

Me: What else do you do, aside from your etsy shop?
 

Jenn: I love going to Estate sales, garage sales, any place where there is a bargain to be made!  I love visiting my parents’ and playing cards and board games together.  I enjoy playing the piano, reading and spending time with my family.

I love going on walks and hikes with my husband and children.  Our family’s favorite activity is playing hide and go seek, I currently am the only one with a spot that no one can find, and for some unknown reason, this makes me very happy!

 Me: Where do you see yourself, let’s say… 10 years from now? 

Jenn: It may sound silly, but in ten years my kids will all be in school, and my post office isn’t too far away from my house.  The road to get there, Arbor Lane is so beautiful, I would love to be selling enough that I could ride my bike down that beautiful street every day with a basket on the front filled with packages to ship.  An added bonus, no one asking me if they can have a treat when we get home!

Crafty Saturday Link-Up Party No. 18

So, thursday evening, my internet connection and router died. So, I spent the whole friday cleaning and redecorating my living room. I ended up with a sprained wrist ^^). I cleaned and reorganized all the closets of my house, too. I was nervous since a giveaway had to be up by then yet the internet connection wasn't fixed. Luckily, late afternoon of friday, the technician arrived and changed my router in 2 minutes and finally, I was "connected" ^^)
