Hi everyone! I hope everybody's in good health. These past few days, I wasn't able to accomplish as much as I would've wanted to. My Li'l Guy is a bit out of sorts and had been needing a lot of TLC ^^) I even forgot that yesterday was Thursday and that I should've posted the Thursday giveaway.
For today, I would want to share with you a quick tutorial for a Rolled Fabric Flower Ponytail.
There are so many tutorials out there for this project. Just thought I'd share how I do mine.
You would need a glue gun, elastic band, a round piece of felt or faux leather and a long piece of fabric.
The length of your fabric would entirely depend on how wide (across) you want your flower to be but I always cut my fabric piece 2.5 cms wide.
Take one end of your fabric and tie it into a knot. Then start rolling your fabric, make sure that the area of the knot where the end of the fabric could be seen should be placed downwards.
Keep on rolling your fabric twisting your fabric when needed. This would create petals for your flower. Use your glue gun every 3 cms. or so to fix the fabric while you go.
Keep on rolling until you reach the end, but leave 1" of your fabric unrolled. Apply adhesive on the wrong side of your flower and use that 1" of fabric we have left unrolled to cover the wrong side of your flower.
Cut the excess fabric.
Attach your elastic band to your flower then cover it with your faux leather round piece.
Embellish it with a freshwater rice pearl.
You could make 3 or 4 of them and attach them to a headband. Or make a bib necklace out of them, too!
I hope you liked today's tutorial.
Have a crafty friday, everyone!
Hugs,
I am linking to these parties!

I love this! And I gave you the Trendy Blogger award @ http://pinkapotamus.blogspot.com
Love This! I have long straight hair that goes into a ponytail or twisty bun most days, so this will be PERFECT to make me look a little less drab and a little more fab! ;-)
